Gruppo Sincrono, an ICT Consulting and Training Holding Company that has been operating on the market since 1993, is selecting a Software Configuration Manager for an important professional opportunity for one of our customers in Milan, the activity will be carried out in partial Smart working, *the candidate will be included in cutting-edge and innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
- Managing/maintaining code repositories, promoting code and managing merges
- Preparing installation instructions for server and mobile applications
- Preparing and carrying out software releases
- Configuring repositories and builds, Ensuring configuration management requirements and integrity are met
- Working to resolve emergent issues (merges, deploys, etc), assisting process users (developers, testers, etc), and providing training as required.
- Quality Control for base standards of delivered development.
- Supporting updates to program documentation, plans, and processes
- Identifying improvements to systems and processes to address repetitive quality issues
Skill:
- Experience/High Proficiency with Git (or similar)
- Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo & Confluence (or similar)
- Possess high attention to detail, strong organizational and self-management skills
- Strong ability to communicate optimally both in writing and verbally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in technical writing of processes and procedures
- Understanding of PLM & 5 pillars of CM
Preferential skill:
- Experience with Unix shell commands
- Experience in java & database (SQL, queries, etc) development (Maven, Spring, etc)
Language skill:
- Proficient level of English (written/spoken) – all documentation is in English
Place of work: Milan ( 2/3 days on site)
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven direct product configuration management experience
